**About the Role**

As the Digital Design Lead, you will manage all aspects of our digital presence, including website design and content management, social media strategy, and digital marketing initiatives. You will oversee the creation, execution, and optimisation of our digital strategy to ensure a cohesive and impactful online presence that reflects our brand values and business goals. Your role will drive engagement, enhance user experience, and maximise our reach across all digital platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Website Management: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our company website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and up-to-date with the latest content and product offerings.
- Content Creation and Management: Develop and manage all digital content, including blogs, articles, product descriptions, and multimedia content. Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and SEO best practices.
- Social Media Management: Oversee all social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and analytics. Develop a strong social media presence that supports our brand and business objectives.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on digital performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to optimise digital strategies and improve ROI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure digital strategies align with overall business goals and objectives.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with digital trends, tools, and technologies. Propose and implement innovative ideas to enhance our digital presence and customer experience.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of digital content creators, designers, and social media managers to achieve digital strategy goals.

**Person Specification**

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Design, Communications,

or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing website management, content creation, and digital strategy execution.
- Proven experience managing and optimising websites using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with web design principles (HTML/CSS).

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies that align with business goals.
- Creative Vision: Strong eye for design and attention to detail, with the ability to create visually appealing and on-brand digital content.
- Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach with experience in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) to measure and optimise digital performance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading a team of digital professionals.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Experience in the home improvement industry or a related field.
- Familiarity with digital marketing automation tools and CRM software.
- Certification in digital marketing or a related discipline.
