Southampton, United Kingdom Kingfisher Full time

Overview:
We’re Kingfisher. You might know us as B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico Depot or Koçtaş. We’re made up of over 78,000 passionate people, call over 1,300 stores home and operate in 8 countries. That’s right, we’re big, but we have ambitions to become even bigger and even better. We want to become the leading home improvement company and grow the largest community of home improvers in the world. And that’s where you come in. We are looking for a Lead Scrum Master to join the team here at Kingfisher.

The Product team within Customer & Digital is scaling to meet the growing demand from our banners and group functions. The scrum master community play an important role in helping us deliver the most valuable outcomes.

Within the Digital Experience and Digital Operations Programmes, each product domain has several teams. These product domains need to be aligned around good agility at scale practices, with a particular focus on customer centricity and design thinking supported through a Lean-Agile mindset and principles.

In addition to supporting Product Group, the Lead Scrum Master will help shape and drive our agile at scale training offering across Kingfisher, through thought leadership and delivery of relevant courses. Mentoring and coaching of specific individuals and groups should also be expected.

With a growing community of scrum masters, there will be a requirement to provide line management and servant leadership to scrum masters ranging from associate to senior levels.

What's the job?:
**Responsibilities**

Your role as a Lead Scrum Master will be varied and demanding. Working in conjunction with the Capability Lead, your responsibilities will include the following:

- Bring thought leadership to design thinking, lean thinking and agile at scale.
- Support the ongoing requirement for agile at scale training across Kingfisher’s group functions and banner communities.
- Help set up the digital product domains for successful delivery. Working alongside the product domain leadership team, you’ll help us deliver against our digital roadmap.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to the scrum master community, and other prospective agile practitioners.
- Drive the scrum master community of practice, and actively promote the agile mindset, principles, and ways of working.
- Act as an internal consultant, engaging with business and technical stakeholders to advise on agile good practices within a Kingfisher context.
- Provide line management and leadership to c4-8 scrum master colleagues.

What we need:
We are looking for someone who has a true passion for agile delivery and a track record in developing individuals and teams. Specifically, the role requires:

- Knowledge and experience of multiple agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- A track record of leading great teams, with significant experience managing business stakeholders and a tireless approach to building effective working relationships.
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle and the e-commerce environment, with a broad interest in technology.
- Imagination and creativity to solve problems, and work with teams to analyse the root causes of issues.
- A passion for coaching individuals and teams to get the best out of people.
- Recognised Lean-agile coaching qualifications.
- Formal area of interest outside of their agile teams, for example facilitating a community of practice.
