**Role Description**

Project Co-Ordinator to work within the Military Aircraft Capability Delivery team, providing control and governance to support the delivery of Military Aircraft capability programmes for the UK and Military Aircraft core customer nations.

The role requires control of programmes and their associated CSRs through the development lifecycle, working closely with Weapon System Capability and Support Services business areas which provide the delivery through the Engineering shared service.

Responsibility for providing support for baseline management, spend analysis, earned value reporting, risk management, resource forecasting and lifecycle management.

**Core duties**

SSR Management / Delivery: Provide support to lower value projects are combined in the Summary Status Review (SSR) - requires similar Project Management approach to CSR but they are reported as a single combined entity. SSR is updated on a monthly cycle requiring appropriate support and inputs

Budget Management: Provide support on the allocation and management of budgets for tasks, ensuring clear understanding of current status and Estimates at Completion (EAC) in line with CSR and task required reporting requirements. Close working with CAMs to ensure project delivery within budget.

Risk & Opportunity Management: Providing support by ensuring appropriate identification and recording of risks. Monitoring risk and opportunity status against all tasks and agreeing appropriate mitigations. Management of risk retirement / drawdown where necessary and maintaining topical position within risk database

Purchase orders: managing the purchase requisition process to ensure the requisitions are raised and approved in the required time frame to allow suppliers to be contracted and commence delivery activities to support the overall project schedule

Resourcing: Ensuring required resource profiles are maintained with TM01 and that these are kept topical. Working with CAMs to ensure appropriate resource solutions are in places for tasks

Delivery / Operations Reviews: Organise regular delivery reviews with CAMs / delivery teams to ensure that up to date status is understood and to provide contract owner's guidance on any emerging issues. Ensuring appropriate escalation of issues and reporting into senior forums

**Skills**
