**Job Title**:Accounts Payable Clerk

**Location**:Solihull

**Package**:£22,000 - £24,000 per annum + benefits

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

Assist with managing all aspects of the day-to-day Accounts Payable function including vendor relations whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives and efficient processes. This role reports into the Accounts Payable Manager and will work alongside the Shared Service Centre team.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Purchase Ledger maintenance and control
- Responsible for accurate and timely posting of overhead invoices
- On-going reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assisting with the payment process across the EMEA region
- Processing of Employee expenses
- Purchase order tracking and Query analysis
- Liaising internally and with suppliers with respect to queries
- Monthly Accounts Payable close per department deadline requirements
- Supporting the AP manager with reporting requirements and current projects
- Assisting with any other ad hoc duties as required within the Finance Department
- Documenting processes and proactively driving improvement initiatives.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**:

- Previous Accounts Payable experience is essential
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Good communication skills
- Strong organisational/time management skills
- Confident working under own initiative
- Eye for detail
- Ambitious to progress within the Finance function

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
