We are seeking a Commercial Assistant to support the senior management team with day to day tasks at our head office in Hatfield. Your focus will be on compliance, quality and continuous improvement - you'll be instrumental in ensuring that our performance standards continue to meet and exceed expectations. This role has the potential to expand and grow, with management of a small team, should you wish to.

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Overseeing and maintaining our compliance records, ensuring any alerts are addressed and cleared within the expected time period
- Managing the compliance and servicing programmes for all areas of our organisations, including some liaison with suppliers and contractors
- Assisting with performance data to senior managers and other stakeholders in the required format and style
- Assist in the preparation of regular and ad hoc reports
- Provide input and assist in the review of internal policies and procedures
- Act as a primary point of contact for our healthcare and IT systems in relation to requests and queries
- Assist with monthly analysis of our incidents and safeguarding report, highlighting trends and risks, and recommend aspects of continuous improvement
- Maintain and tracking an accurate list of contract renewals, ensuring they are correctly budgeted for
- Assist in assessing the business needs and requirements to find suitable vendors by evaluating and analysing potential suppliers and negotiating contracts

**Skills Required**:
Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Good analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make decisions
Good grasp of learning new software and systems (full training provided)
Ability to build relationships at all levels
Highly organised and responsive with a strong work ethic
Happy to travel into the office in Hatfield 4 days a week

Ability to work in a pressured environment

Able to maintain effective levels of communication with senior team members
