**Job Description**:
Pertemps Crawley are working alongside a leading supplier in Burgess Hill, looking for an organised, proactive Logistics Co-Ordinator to join their supportive, growing team. In a fast-paced environment, the Logistics Co-Ordinator is responsible for ensuring all processed orders meet required documentation and shipping standards and are booked and delivered within set timescales.

**The Role**:

- Booking appropriate couriers for required deliveries- Assess current and upcoming delivery schedules to and plan efficient routes- Work closely with the Warehouse team to understand appropriate packing specifications (based on client request, temperature requirements, weight, quantity)- Work with Documentation team to communicate despatch/delivery status and ensure documentational compliance- Track shipments and ensure any delays are proactively communicated- Store all shipment PODs and relevant information on the system- Perform Quality checks on product as required- Ensure that day to day courier driver relationships are maintained and built upon- Ensure we use the most appropriate couriers based on both performance and price- Monthly courier cost review with line manager to identify patterns & trends, building towards annual courier tenders- Work with documentation team to ensure stock is accurately recorded, regularly checked and pro-actively managed- Ensure delivered items are ready for invoicing**The Person**:

- Collaborative team-player- Ability to work to timescales- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure- Proven ability to schedule and track deliveries- Pro-active with a willingness to learn and adapt- Organised and with high attention to detail- Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, management and suppliers- Good level of spoken/written EnglishFull-time office-based role, working
**Monday to Friday 9-5** and offering a
**salary of up to £27,000 **dependent on relevant experience.
