Job Description:

We are a rapidly growing e-commerce company delivering a range of products from household to garden, pets to DIY, and office ware. As part of this development, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator based at our office in Perivale. As a Logistics Coordinator you will have the responsibilities as below :

Responsibilities

  • Daily Maintenance of the company's Oracle System
  • Responsible for clearance of import cargo by obtaining containers files from HQ.
  • Arranging containers delivery according to the capacity of the warehouse
  • Assisting HQ to monitor and optimise the overseas supply chain
  • Working closely with the sales team and order processing team, take quick action for other colleagues demands, adjust and optimise the overseas supply chain
  • Communicating with HQ for all relevant issues such as chasing up orders, recommend operational improvement, monitor sea freight etc
  • Liaise with different courier companies for all relevant issues and monitor all the changes regarding delivery.
  • Maintaining Budgets
  • Handling customer order requests efficiently and setting up details on computer system.
  • Completing all types of customs paperwork for both import and export shipments.
  • Working closely with the Warehouse and Transport Departments to co-ordinate the despatch of orders
  • Ensuring financial processes are followed and raising client invoices prior to despatch

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within the transport or logistics industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
