We have a fantastic opportunity for an Art & Design Lecturer to join our dedicated and friendly Bradford School of Art.
You should be passionate about students having access to high quality education, regardless of their background, be a positive presence in classrooms and forge healthy working relationships with students and staff. You should be creative while delivering new concepts to students and should be able to contribute ideas to weekly team meetings on the best strategies to support students to attend, achieve and progress.
Education & Training
- Degree or equivalent in Art and Design
- A relevant teaching qualification or working towards this qualification.
- GCSE 9-5 (A*- C) or nationally recognised level 2 qualification in Maths or equivalent. (e.g. CSE 1, O Level A - C) or prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale.

Experience

- Ability to utilise Information Technology and Information, Learning and Technology both within learning and for administrative purposes.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Experience of Good teaching/training.
- Experience of student pastoral care and disciplinary procedures
- Experience of course leadership responsibilities.
