We have an exciting opportunity to join #TeamEMR a Timetable and Resource Planner.

The Timetable and Resource Planner is responsible for the production of amended timetables, rolling stock diagrams and train crew diagrams in connection with engineering work and special events taking place on the network.

**The Timetable and Resource Planner will also**:

- Produce amended timetables that conform to the Detailed Period Possession Plan/Confirmed Period Possession Plan and which are compliant with the Engineering Access Statement and Timetable Planning Rules, considering also the requirements of the Train Service Requirement in the Franchise Agreement
- Produce revised timetables from a commercial specification but also in liaison with the Commercial Timetable Manager and Amended Services Team Leader to produce an optimum plan that delivers to customer, stakeholder and business needs
- Produce rolling stock diagrams within agreed fleet usage parameters and which balance across the day/week.
- Produce efficient, robust train crew diagrams in accordance with agreed conditions of service and planning rules.
- Upload, circulate and publish timetables in accordance with company processes and systems.
- Liaise with Network Rail and other operators as necessary to optimise timetable plans.
- Provide support for the Long Term Planning and Timetable Information teams when required.

**About you**:
You will be a motivated team player with a flexible and supportive approach to your work. You will also possess excellent attention to detail with the ability to work to tight timescales in a sometimes pressurised environment. You will have strong communication skills and the desire to build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Some knowledge of rail operations and EMR's network geography will be highly beneficial in this role. It would also be preferential to have strong IT skills that will enable you to learn internal systems such as Voyagerplan.
