**Location**: In-Person, Newcastle Business Park

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Record keeping**: Maintaining and organising records, including financial, personnel, training and legal.
- **Scheduling**: Scheduling meetings, appointments, and events. Ensuring calendar is kept up to date.
- **Communication**: Handling correspondence, answering phone calls, updating social media and responding to queries.
- **Data entry**: Create and update databases, records, spreadsheets and presentations.
- **Reporting**: Preparing reports and invoices, processing payments.
- **Customer service**: Develop and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and ability to resolve issues.
- **Project management**: Taking on specific projects and tasks, and overseeing the work of studio staff and volunteers.
- **Health & Safety/Safeguarding**: Ensure procedures are properly followed and working practices are up to date.
- **Office/studio management**: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office & studio, including communicating daily updates to the floor staff.

**Essential Skills**
- Previous experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Team player happy to assist with activities outside the office as needed.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office & Quickbooks.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent time management & ability to prioritise work.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of information governance.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Familiarity of office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Articulate with communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Good understanding of Safeguarding practices.
- Knowledge of the Social Model of Disability.

**Desirable**
- Driving licence.
- Interest in the arts.
- Lived experience of disability.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £26,936.00 per year

Expected hours: 21 per week
