Now, as they expand rapidly, they’re looking for a dedicated Administrator to join their team. In this role, you’ll support their finance and operations team, handling tasks like data entry, invoice processing, and office management. You’ll also be the first point of contact for their clients and suppliers. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software (Xero) and Excel spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy across multiple organisations.
- Invoice Processing, Payroll, and VAT Returns: Manage purchase invoices using various software, including Quickbooks and Xero, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable on a monthly basis. Support with payroll processing across a range of clients.
- Office Management: Order office supplies, maintain a tidy office environment, and coordinate internal meetings, including arranging refreshments.
- Excellent Communication: Build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers, often as the first point of contact.
- Support for Wider Team: Assist the team with reporting, data management, and ad-hoc administrative tasks. The team is actively working on modernizing systems and processes.
- General Administration: Help with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office and support the team with any projects.

**Must-Have Attributes**:

- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when dealing with data and financial information.
- Organisational Skills: Can manage and prioritise multiple tasks, working efficiently to meet deadlines.
- IT Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and willing to learn accounting software like Xero and Quickbooks.
- Communication Skills: Can communicate clearly and professionally with both internal team members and external clients or suppliers.
- Team Player: Happy to assist with both finance and general administrative tasks as needed. They’re a small but growing team that values humour and enjoying their workdays.

**The Set-Up**:
The company is based in the North East, and office presence will be required while processes are systemised, with more flexibility offered once automation is in place. Hours are very flexible and can be worked around childcare or other commitments.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Newcastle upon Tyne
