**Vacancy Description**:
An Apprenticeship in Food and Beverage Hospitality is responsible for welcoming guests and working across several areas of Food and Beverage during your placement to deliver an excellent Guest experience while managing guest queries.
What will you be doing?
As an Apprenticeship Food and Beverage, you are responsible for welcoming guests and working across several areas of Food and Beverage your placement to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. An Apprenticeship Food and Beverage will also be required to manage guest queries.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Able to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Events & weddings and spa.
- Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
- Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
- Prepare set ups for tables
- Follow cash handling procedures
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Up-sell with latest departmental incentives
- Ensure compliance of brand standards
- Strive to achieve departmental targets
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Comply with local licensing laws
- Be environmentally aware
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

**Skills Required**:
An Apprenticeship Food and Beverage is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
- Excellent grooming standards.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Ability to work on your own or in teams.
**Salary**:
£5.78 per hour plus a £1000 bonus when the course is passed.
**Working Week**:
- Minimum of 30 hours per week as per rota that includes 6 hours college or training on a Monday.
- A breakfast shift would start at 7am or if on a function your shift could end at 1am.
**Is there potential for future employment?**
Yes. After you have passed the course, you may be offered a promotion to the position of supervisor.
**Qualifications Required**:
A good standard of Maths and English (4/C or Equivalent).
**Training to be Provided**:
Hospitality Apprenticeship Level 2.
**Things to Consider**:
- Due to the rural location do you have your own form of transport to commute? Or can you easily get lifts from friends or family? There are no buses at night.
- You will be expected to work evenings and weekends.
