The ICT Apprentice role requires a pro-active self-starter who is conversant with modern technology to work alongside the Service Management Teams within the Staff Moorlands and High Peak District Council offices.
You may be working with physical hardware in-person and on-site, or remotely with cloud based virtual software and technologies
Key responsibilities may include:
- Provide technical support both internal and external customers remotely and/or face-to-faceEstablish and diagnose technical problems and faults
- Undertake the relevant processes using tools and technologies to resolve technical issues
- Document and escalate tasks to ensure a clear audit trail and progression of issues Support Technician
- Resolving system user queries and resolving faults in a helpdesk environment.
- Job roles could include: o Help Desk support o Office IT Technician o IT Support Officer o Data Centre Support Technician o Cyber/Security Support

**Qualifications**
- High attention to detail with problem solving skills.
- Enthusiastic employee with ambition, strong work ethic and can work well in a team environment.
- Open to new ideas with the willingness to learn.
- Confident in using Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent grammatical skills.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to confidentially communicate with all levels of colleagues.
