Creating a global Procurement centre of expertise tasked with ensuring a focused and professional approach to all sourcing activities with the objective of delivering maximum value and ensuring that we meet all risk and regulatory requirements.
This role is responsible for developing and leading all supplier relationship management activities with a focus on maximising value from all third-party arrangements and mitigating operational risk
Responsible for designing and implementing the supplier management approach within the allocated business area(s) and aligning to Group Procurement policies
Providing expert, authoritative advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of supplier and contract management strategy and practice
Responsible for overseeing compliance to the global Procurement Policy, Outsourcing Policy and Supplier Risk Framework across the Corporation and Market, in order to manage and mitigate supplier risk, ensure consistency with industry best practice and satisfyregulatory requirements
Establish and develop collaborative senior stakeholder and global strategic supplier relationships to develop and implement procurement initiatives across the Corporation that deliver optimal value and ensure that the quality of service provision is consistencymanaged and challenged
Overseeing and performing supplier relationship management activities in line with Corporation best practice and regulatory requirements; this will include overseeing a robust supplier management programme encompassing management of contract obligationsand service levels, supplier due diligence, renewal and exit planning
Implement robust governance and oversight of all vendor arrangements, maintaining a framework of processes, policies, systems and activities required for end to end management of vendor relationships
Leading strategic and operational supplier reviews primarily with Critical/High-Risk Suppliers
Administration and development of the e-procurement tool and Corporation-wide P2P system
Responsible for the effective management of key procurement projects and for identifying opportunities to drive improvements
