Supplier Relationship Manager

Legal & General is a leading UK financial services group with a global reach and were investing in our Procurement Centre of Excellence making this a great time to join and help shape the future.What youll be doing:Managing a portfolio of critical and high-value suppliers mainly across IT systems (especially finance systems) and professional servicesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and supplier leadership teamsEnsuring compliance with Supplier Relationship Management policies standards and processesOverseeing contract performance and conducting regular reviews against Service Level AgreementsSupporting and implementing change programmes to improve supplier and organisational performanceCollaborating with procurement teams on contract negotiations and renewals to secure strong commercial outcomesLeading resolution of contractual disputes to minimise cost and operational impactDeveloping and delivering processes that enhance service consistency and customer experienceQualifications : Who were looking for:Proven experience in supplier relationship management category management or vendor managementStrong commercial acumen and understanding of contracts frameworks and financial services contextExcellent communication and influencing skills with a collaborative and inclusive approachAbility to build networks and maintain relationships across organisational and supplier boundariesProficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word with strong analytical skillsFlexible and adaptable mindset to respond to changing business needsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyRelevant qualification in procurement and supply managementWhatever your role we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
