The role sits within the Spectrum Services Team, part of the Spectrum Assurance, Compliance and Licensing Directorate within Spectrum Group. The team is responsible for providing support services to the Directorate and wider Group covering Quality Management,Procurement, Fleet Management, Enforcement and Sanction administration. I doing so the aim is to ensure our field teams have the appropriate tools and support to keep the spectrum free of interference, work safely and delivery customer expectations.
**Purpose of the Role**
Reporting to the Spectrum Services Support Manager, job holder will:
provide business support services to Spectrum Assurance, Compliance and Engineering Teams in ensuring that our fleet of vehicles remain fully operational through engagement with our Vehicle Fleet Management companies in order for them to undertake Ofcom'sstatutory duties.
Provide support to the Spectrum Assurance & Enforcement Teams in the conduct of criminal investigations and enforcement activities in relation to unlicensed users and illegal broadcast stations operating in contravention of provisions contained in the WirelessTelegraphy Act 2006, Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and the Electromagnetic to keep the radio spectrum free of interference.
**Key responsibilities**
- Supporting the day-to-day management of the Ofcom vehicle fleet - both leased and owned.
- Liaise with stakeholders including Fleet Leasing Company, other related suppliers and colleagues ensuring vehicle queries/issues are managed and successfully resolved.
- Ensure accuracy of all the invoices and follow the necessary processes for payment of the invoices.
- Ensure hire car requests are appropriately approved, processed and full audit trail is kept for records.
- Conducting DPA enquiries to support with criminal investigations
- Updating and maintaining accurate records on our case Case Records Management system, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
- Processing and issuing administrative sanctions including warning letters, fixed penalty notices, formal cautions and prosecutions.
- Managing the local seized items property store, maintaining accurate records for continuity purposes.
- Providing support and advice to internal and external stakeholders.
**Skills, Knowledge and experience**
- List all essential skills and capabilities the person needs to bring to the role and level of proficiency e.g. Data Analytics, Policy writing, Cyber security, Cloud, Enforcement, Public Law.
- The ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet pre-determined deadlines.

- The ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision; taking ownership of issues and providing timely solutions.

- Previous experience of vehicle fleet management.
