MTC Northwest currently have an opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our team at our DAF & MAN Dealership in Knowsley Liverpool working a 4 on 4 off shift.

As a shift Service Advisor, you will be a vital link between our customers and the service department. Your role will include managing customer enquiries, providing vehicle updates and estimates for work. You will also prepare job cards and paperwork from the workshop for invoicing.

We operate a busy service reception department and so require someone who is able to be self-motivated and can learn a variety of processes.

**Duties**:

- Interact with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service diary
- Communicate service recommendations to customers clearly
- Use dealer management software (POWER)
- Raising reservations and job card
- Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Liaise with the workshop to ensure timely completion of work
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Upsell additional services or products where appropriate

**Essential**:

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle maintenance requirements
- Ability to upsell services or products to enhance customer experience
- Proficient in Microsoft products, word, excel, outlook
- Must be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team

Previous dealership/transport industry experience preferable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Dealership: 1 year (required)
- Service Advisor: 5 years (preferred)
