**Finance Manager - Company Accountant - Management Accountant**

**£50,000, Pro Rata/Part Time - Hybrid**

The client is a successful and fast growing capital equipment and engineering business, fabricating large and medium sized, specialist hi-spec equipment, which they sell both direct and through third party distributors, to a wide range of large corporateswithin the UK, in Europe. They also have a rentals business and provide servicing and maintenance support for their equipment. The business is a SME, and it has a 5 year plan to see significant growth in activities.

Reporting to the MD and managing an Assistant, the role is responsible for all finance functions of the business. This will include all aspects of the day-to-day accounts including payroll, management accounts, cash flow management, forecasts, as well asproviding support to the MD. Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Credit control.
- Cash flow management and forecasts.
- Annual budgets and regular forecasts.
- Payroll.
- VAT and PAYE returns and CT schedules.
- Daily bookkeeping / ledger.
- Weekly supplier payments.
- Year-end accounts to trial balance, and working with their Accountants.
- Liaising with Leasing Companies.
- Ensuring compliance with logistics documentation.
- Any other ad hoc projects as and when required.

This is an excellent role for an accountant, Qualified, PQ, QBE or Returning to the job market, seeking a role with flexible hours, working mainly in the office, although remotely via the Cloud. You will need to be familiar working with cloud based accountancysolutions; the client uses QuickBooks and Sage, and you need to be proficient with Excel and Office products. You will need to have enough initiative to sort out problems, liaise with clients and Distributors, both in the UK and overseas, and assist the MDwith commercial decision making.
