**Finance Manager (Part Time)**:

- Spider is advertising on behalf of a transport company with a long and successful family history, who are seeking a new **Financial Manager**to work alongside the Directors and Senior Management on their exciting growth plans. This is a fantastic opportunity for an all-around professional looking for a new challenge. Their Head Office is based on the outskirtsof **Ipswich, Suffolk and** they also have outlying offices In Liverpool and Hull and more recently have expanded into Europe.

The **Finance Manager** will be leading the P2P function from placing orders, supplier invoice processing to organising regular supplier payment runs. You will be processing bank and credit card transaction and reconciliations and ensuring allinformation is allocated correctly, producing bank reconciliations (including Euro accounts) in a timely manner. Manage the Trail Balance and Balance Sheet Recs and supporting external auditors with the production of the Statutory Accounts.

**Other duties will include**:

- Preparation of quarterly VAT
- Assist with credit control duties
- Preparation or reports and any additional duties as requested by the Directors or senior team members.
- Production of the management accounts incorporating KPI’s to deadlines
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis
- Regular reconciliation and importing of ledgers which generates sales invoicing
- Preparation, payment and reconciling of Payroll (Monthly c 20 staff)

As our **Finance Manager,**you will have in depth working knowledge of Xero accounts (desirable) systems and confident with Excel. AAT Qualified or part qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA or QBE but with significant experience. Previous experiencein management accounts and payroll (desirable) and experience of managing a team (desirable). Happy to consider an applicant looking for their first role out of practice. A seasoned FD is retained is on hand and will be available to provide support and guidance(8-10 hours a month).
