Commercial Insurance Sales Executive

Our client is seeking to hire a Commercial Insurance Sales Executive for their Ashford office. You will identify, develop and win insurance sales opportunities in the target sectors for the business, be fully licensed and able to advise customers acrossall product lines available. This is a Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, role (35hrs pw) with an hour lunch break.
Duties include:
- To build relationships with our prospects and existing customers and to quote for and win insurance sales opportunities meeting your agreed sales targets
- To work with our lead generation team and develop a pipeline of insurance opportunities, develop the relationship and secure commitment to quote
- To receive inbound calls and meet with customers in order to provide quotations and to review and advise customers on insurance requirements
- To identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities/activities
- To acquire and maintain knowledge of company products and relevant product licences
- To plan and implement sales and marketing initiatives
- To develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, members of agency and staff
- To comply with all applicable sections of the General Insurance Compliance Manual, Claims Guide and local agency procedures
- To assist with motor & personal enquiries as required
- To perform other duties requested by Agents or Line Manager
- Proven track record in insurance sales
- Use of Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems
- Knowledge of insurance industry
- Experience of dealing with HNWI
- CII qualifications
Full training provided (which may include additional travel and staying away from home in order to attend training courses). There is potential to complete CII qualifications and may be occasional weekend work to support agency events.
