Butler Rose are delighted to be assisting this forward thinking Devon based business with the requirement for a Senior Buyer. The organisation offers various consultancy, IT and capital project services to multiple public sector organisations and now requiresthe assistance of a skilled Senior Buyer to assist with procurement services for the business. The role can be worked on a remote basis, with occasional trips to the office required.

**The role**

The Procurement Team proactively contributes to the success of the business in terms of both profit and revenue. The Team is agile and purpose lead, buying responsibly in method and in outcome and always focusing on the best solution for their customers.

Duties of the role are wide ranging in scope, but will include the following:

- Negotiation with the experience of delivering financial and operational benefits
- Conducting in-depth market analysis to leverage the benefits of procurement strategies
- Consistent ability to identify, quantify and prioritise improvement opportunities with service stakeholders and clients.
- Contributes personally and proactively to the delivery of the savings ensuring the quality of goods and services procured is in line with the procurement strategy and, where appropriate, technical road map.

- Have experience contributing to and executing category strategy
- Have a full appreciation of contractual terms and conditions
- Have a passion for collaborating and problem solving
- Have experience in participating in Supplier Relationship Management
- Have a continuous improvement approach to procurement
- Have experience in Procurement and supply chain processes
- Have experience in contract writing and management

**Package**
- Salary £35,000 - £37,500
- CIPS funding provided
- Remote working, flexible hours
