**About You**

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced HR People Partner to join our high-performing team at McCarthy Stone.

You will bring proven experience in leading the delivery and execution of HR and People strategies, with a solid grounding in UK Employment Law. Additionally, you will have a strong track record of providing expert guidance to managers on all aspects of Employee Relations, including performance and absence management, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.

Your deep understanding of employment law, people metrics, and best practices will empower you to influence and drive key initiatives, from employee relations to talent management, fostering a culture of engagement and high performance.

We are looking for a CIPD-qualified HR professional who embodies our values and excels at building strong, meaningful relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.

**The Role**

As People Partner you will be responsible for the delivery of an HR People Partner service and specifically Employee Relations Case Management to dedicated client groups working with a variety of stakeholders both face to face and virtually, ensuring the provision of a high level of HR Service to the business.

You will lead on the delivery of the People Plan to ensure we are driving engagement, retention, D&I and people development whilst engaging, empowering and influencing stakeholders within your business area and wider Your McCarthy Stone team.

You will advise, guide and support colleagues and managers by providing high level people management and development support across designated business areas; whilst being comfortable offering advice and influence to all levels of seniority.

You will lead on HR projects, taking ownership, management and delivery of key business initiatives from end to end and will work with the Talent Acquisition team to support the attraction, recruitment and selection for key roles across our developments and Support Functions.

You will work with the Reward team to ensure pay and benefits align to the marketplace by undertaking regular benchmarking and analysis as well as leading on the annual pay review process.

We have adopted a hybrid way of working this role will require travel across the South.

**Your Attributes**

**You will have**:

- Experience of working in a fast-paced generalist HR Business Partnering role
- Experience of managing an ER case workload including complex cases
- CIPD Qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to deal with competing priorities to manage escalations and deliver to deadlines
- Able to constructively challenge and influence stakeholders

**You will bring**:
