**Duties**
- Ensure that all clinics and theatres are fully booked and notify the Admin Lead of any gaps or cancellations.
- Provide first-class customer service during all interactions.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the senior management team.
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all service users in a friendly and reassuring manner, including providing procedural advice as necessary.
- Maintain patient records with excellence, ensuring confidentiality in accordance with GDPR legislation, by adding appropriate notes, histories, operation records, discharge summaries, etc. to ensure that a current record of the patient pathway is kept.
- Take patient payments and ensure that they are processed correctly.
- Assist with administrative stock ordering.
- Perform full reception duties, including scheduling appointments, receiving site visitors, and providing front-of-house services.
- Arrange referrals to other health care providers, such as x-rays, lab tests, physical therapy, MRI's, and CT scans.
- Communicate with other medical secretaries, departments, or Trusts to ensure continuity of care and treatment for patients between departments and sites, and ensure effective communication between departments. This includes chasing outstanding test results in readiness for consultations.
- Assist in general office duties and reception work as required due to absence or annual leave.
- Ensure that all patient files are filed following surgery.
- Manage the day-to-day diary, including making appointments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies.
- Effectively manage own time, workload, and resources.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Strong skills in coordinating patient care at a high level are essential.
- Applicants must provide strong evidence of relevant work experience and positive references.
- A conscientious approach to patient safety and ensuring a clear treatment path is necessary.
- The ability to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and solve problems effectively on a daily basis is important.
- Flexibility to work on short notice may be required.
- Knowledge of GDPR regulations, particularly as they pertain to patient confidentiality and clinical/surgical contexts, is necessary.
- Familiarity with clinical and patient management computer software such as Paboo is preferred, as well as the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new IT systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
