Payroll Specialist, up to £38,000,
- Based in Bracknell _
Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a well-recognised, established and growing business based in Bracknell. This role will focus on coordinating the payroll function in your designated area. The role will involve providing correctpayroll calculations for your area and working with external payroll providers.
**About the role - key responsibilities**:
- Coordinating the payroll as well as assuring correct and timely payroll calculations for your area in cooperation with the external payroll provider
- Checking of the time and attendance reports & importing them into the system
- Monthly General Ledger checks
- Organising employee data from HR, assuring the payroll handling and reporting payroll information to HR
- Working with HR to ensure that new starters and leavers are captured
- Managing the payroll mailbox and handling any pay related queries
- Following up on the timely reporting of monthly payroll file
- Reconciling payroll accounts to tax reporting
- Reconciling payroll information for internal and external audit
- Managing company benefits
**About you**
- Payroll certificate/degree
- Experience in handling the local payroll & personnel administration
- HR and payroll background/experience
- Experience of dealing with hourly pay processes as well as salaried employees
- Retail experience would be an advantage
- Working time directive knowledge
- An understanding of legislation around company insurance policies
- Have strong (people oriented) communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
