Avove is a new, independent utilities infrastructure business, formed from the utilities division of leading infrastructure services company, Amey.
We design, build and maintain the UK’s utilities infrastructure to help transform local communities for the better.
We are proud to work in partnership with our clients, including Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Scottish Water, Northern Powergrid and Scottish Power.
**The Role**:
Due to growth within Avove we are looking for a Quality & Compliance Lead to join our wider HSEQ Team. Reporting into the Head of HSEQ you will support the business to ensure we retain ISO accreditation and develop one version of the truth around the IMS.
You will also support all operational and enabling functions to ensure their processes are clear and we achieve right first time every time.
**Responsibilities**:
Consolidate the IMS into one version of the truth working with both operations and enabling functions
Set up and conduct an internal audit programme for ISO 14001,9001 & 45001
Co-ordinate the BSI audits and ensure close out of any non-compliances
Maintain documentation of procedural changes
Set up an inspection regime for the operational teams that is easy to follow, clear and ensures good quality control
Ensure all processes meet safety, legal and other national and international standards
**Skills & Experience**:
Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Good working knowledge of ISO9001,14001 & 45001
Experience in a similar role is essential, experience within the construction/utilities sector is desirable
In-depth knowledge of national or international industry regulations
