**The Role**
**To ensure IR35 compliance across NSG Environmental Ltd. Working within the Business Support Function the role of IR35 Administrator will be to work closely with our Recruitment Manager, HR Teams, Commercial Director and Group Finance Director to maintain assurance around IR35 and relevant tax implications.
This role will administer NSG's IR35 policies to ensure compliance to HMRC IR35 tax rules. The role will work cross-functionally and cross-business to ensure consistency group-wide. Engaging with our external supply chain providers (agencies, determination provider and insurance provider), internal recruitment teams, hiring managers and legal to ensure compliance with current IR35 legislative requirements.
The IR35 Administrator is responsible for information provision should there be an approach from HMRC.
**Key Objectives**
- Maintaining our hiring policy and processes around IR35.
- Facilitate and observe IR35 Reviews with Hiring Managers to ensure compliance and adherence to HMRC and NIS Group IR35 rules/policies.
- Maintain quality of Statements of Work to ensure compliance to IR35 rules.
- Main point of contact with third party provider in respect of IR35 assessments & determinations.
- Main point of contact with third party provider in respect of IR35 Insurance and compliance.
- Regular internal audits of People HR to ensure relevant IR35 related information is held for any formal external audit.
- Maintain knowledge and observe/monitor IR35 legal cases to build and enhance understanding of IR35 rules.
- Ensure current list of named tax avoidance schemes, promoters, enablers and suppliers is monitored to ensure any non-conformity is identified and eliminated.
**Person Specification**
- Membership of appropriate technical / professional body
- Has a proven track record of delivering results
- Knowledge of IR35 and having been involved in successful deployment of IR35 assurance practices in other companies
- Good planning/project management skills
- Knowledge of HMRC approaches and dealing with formal requests for information.
- Strong communicator with good communication skills at all levels
- Familiarity with procurement and supply chain management
- Used to dealing with confidential and commercial information
- Familiar with integrated management system operating procedures and requirements etc
- Competent user of MS Office
- Able to organise and prioritise own work
- Maintenance of database and physical records and files
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of colleagues at all levels and with external stakeholders and contractors
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / 14001 & 45001
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,570.00-£30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 26 per week
