**Hours**: Monday to Friday (08:30-16:30 or 09:00-17:00)
**Location**: Hybrid (base of operations Head Office, Chorley). Frequent travel across services (supported living and residential)

**About the Role**
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Compliance Auditor to join our Quality Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Quality, the Compliance Auditor will play a vital role in ensuring the compliance of our services across supported living and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and ensuring completion of quality and compliance audits
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Conducting service spot checks, to ensure compliance.
- Reviewing and reporting on operational compliance
- Complete scheduled compliance audits using standardised tools (MOA Benchmarking and paper-based audits) across services.
- Identify compliance short falls within service to develop action plans and communicate this with the manager of the service.
- identify trends and risk areas following compliance audits.
- Support the Head of Quality in developing, reviewing, and refining audit tools.
- Maintain awareness of legislative, regulatory, and best practice changes in adult social care and advise on potential impacts.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, feedback, and reporting following each audit visit.
- Build constructive and supportive relationships with operational teams to promote a culture of learning, development, and improvement.
- Attend Quality Team and service meetings as required to share findings, updates, and good practice.
- Participate in ongoing learning and supervision to ensure continued personal and professional development.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Quality
**Person Specification**
**Essential**:
- Proven experience in auditing, compliance, or quality assurance within a relevant sector.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and concise audit reports.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all audit activities.
- Flexibility to travel frequently and independently to multiple service locations as required.
- Full UK driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
**Desirable**:
- Direct experience of working within a health and social care setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, with specific awareness of supported living and residential (non-nursing) care services.
- Experience in health and safety compliance, including familiarity with relevant legislation and best practice standards.
