**Job Title: Mortgage Administrator**
**Reporting to**:Operations Director
**Job Responsibilities: General**
Portray a professional image in such a manner as to enhance the reputation of the company with both clients and introducers alike.
- Communicate in a professional manner, ensuring the clients and all other relevant parties are kept fully informed.
- To provide exemplary customer service to clients to ensure repeat business, referrals and recommendations.
- Establish good working relationships with all Brokers.
- Establish a professional and close working relationship with Introducers.
- Assist senior management with ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Comply with company procedures and guidelines at all times.
- Always adhere to Mortgage Advice Standards.
- To meet pre-agreed targets and timescales.
**Mortgage & Protection Processing**:
- Ensure all supporting documentation has been provided.
- Load and scan client information correctly on to company CRM.
- Check mortgage offer to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate regularly with solicitors and clients through to legal completion.
- Ensure protection policies are put on risk at exchange.
- Maintain accurate and up to date notes for compliance purposes.
**Compliance Responsibilities**
- Follow and adhere to company procedures and guidelines at all times.
- Follow and adhere to all regulatory requirements as set out by the FCA.
- Ensure information that comes to light which conflicts with the original information provided is brought to the attention of line management.
**Treating Customers Fairly**
The individual is also responsible for supporting the culture of TCF and ensuring it is embedded in the company. This involves:
- Being constantly mindful of TCF.
- Ensuring processes and actions meet the 6 consumer outcomes.
- Recommending improvements where appropriate.
- Embracing the culture of TCF in day-to-day working practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and highly regarded mortgage brokers. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years administrative experience, preferably within financial services and at least 2 years customer service experience. Salary dependent on experience.
On completion of a satisfactory probation period, there may be the opportunity to work from home one day per week.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Colchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
