**The team**

You can be located anywhere in the EMEA region, the role is fully remote
**What you’ll do at Deel**
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of the rapidly scaling team including architecting systems for professional development and mentorship.
- Being responsible for leading and developing a team of FinTech Payment Operations Specialists and associates, whose main duty is FInTech Payment Operations activities.
- Maintain direct responsibility over the performance of the team’s members, own the operational metrics and goals of the team, department SLAs, and individual goals.
- Lead to create and improve processes, cross-company workflow plus creating and analyzing dashboards with Deel’s organizational tools.
- Contribute to the overall department strategy, collaborate closely with the department Director and Peers to ensure that all objectives are met, you have flexibility to adjust per clients/company needs
- Proactively review and contribute to our Payment queues by completing tasks and be a role model of productivity and efficiency to the team
- Proactively review customer-facing issues, identify main areas of technical escalations, and work with Product and Engineering teams to drive upstream solutions and automations to optimize our processes.
**Some key qualifications**
- 2+ years experience on Operations, Payments, Technical support or similar teams, preferably with a proven experience leading and scaling teams in a high-growth and high-paced environment. Familiar with a start-up environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills turning data insights into projects that optimize our efficiency and productivity within the team.
- Own and execute multiple strategic projects/programs; maintaining attention to details
- Strong data analytics skills and experience working with Notion, JIRA, Zendesk and reporting like Looke, tableau or similar.
- Love for processes and optimization: we need to build more processes to match our growing team, while optimizing our existing ones; you will need to be hands-on and experienced on creating efficiencies on our existing workflows
- Solid track record of achievement - e.g. you have worked in a top tier company and/or startup, have quickly assumed more responsibilities, etc.
