The New Product Launch Excellence Manager – EMEA will serve as the central driver of successful New Product Introductions across the region, owning the Launch Excellence (LEX) process deliverables expected from Regional Marketing and ensuring consistent execution in line with Danaher Business System (DBS) methodologies.

This role requires exceptional project leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to drive standardization while also navigating regional regulatory, commercial, and cultural nuances. The challenge lies in aligning global product strategies with local execution realities, mitigating risks, and embedding continuous improvement post-launch to maximize impact and commercial success.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of coordination for EMEA readiness activities tied to New Product Launches, ensuring alignment with global LEX milestones.
  • Ensure all downstream stakeholders (Sales, Regional Marketing, Customer Care, Service and Distributors) are informed, enabled, and equipped ahead of launch.
  • Oversee the adaptation and timely localization of global launch materials (messaging, tools, regulatory assets) in collaboration with Regional Marketing Managers.
  • Lead/Attend regular launch coordination meetings across EMEA functions to track progress, identify risks, and escalate critical gaps.
  • Monitor EMEA commercial readiness via KPIs (training, VoC feedback, tool access), and facilitate post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned.
  • Maintain transparent and consistent communication with global launch teams, relaying EMEA-specific needs and ensuring visibility on launch progress and challenges.

Requirements for the position

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification (preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product/project management, launch excellence, or marketing operations in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences industries

• Proven experience managing multi-market product launches across EMEA

• Strong familiarity with structured launch methodologies (DBS LEX, Stage-Gate, PLM systems)

Skills:

• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

• Strong analytical capabilities and understanding of performance metrics

• High level of collaboration and stakeholder management in a matrixed environment

• Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities

• Fluency in English; other EMEA languages a plus

II. Travel:
Up to 50% of time (within EMEA/Global) to support launch activities, stakeholder meetings, and trainings
