**Job Title: Senior Care Practitioner PLUS WELCOME BONUS**
**Salary: Up to £29,198.00 per annum, including annual sleep in allowance and dependant on experience plus welcome bonus of £500 and *another £500 once you pass your probation (minimum six months)**
**Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire**
**Hours: 40 hours per week - 2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern**
**Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK**

Little Dinthill is a beautiful character property based in Ford, Shropshire. It is a 3 bedded home and has a long standing grading of Good with Ofsted. The home supports children between the ages of 8 and 17 both male and female and specialises in supportfor children who have experienced previous trauma in their lives by a dedicated team of adults who are trained in the PACE parenting model of therapeutic care.
Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Residential Childcare Assistant to join our team AT Little Dinthill in the Shrewsbury area. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional andMental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.
**Contracts available - Full Time Days**
**Who we are looking for**:
- Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner, or NVQ equivalent.
- At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Willingness to learn about the children and young people we support, and how to support them to reach their full potential
