We are looking for a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our 3-bed countryside children's home on the outskirts of Market Drayton.

Salary: Basic - £30,160 (£35,360 per annum including sleep-in allowance) £65 per sleep-in, on an average of 8-sleeps per month - 10 months a year (deducting annual leave)

Utopia Childcare is an innovative and new residential childcare company, prioritising the mental well-being of our colleagues and following a child-centred therapeutic approach to care. The home is a large premium standard property set in a rural location, surrounded by countryside, perfect for creating positive memories with our young people The children and young people that we care for are aged between 6 and 17 years of age and may present with complex needs and distressed behaviours.

Your role as a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker will involve being a positive role model, going above and beyond for the children and young people, leading shifts and providing guidance and support to Residential Support Workers.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary of £30,160 (£35,360 per annum including sleep-in allowance)
  • £500 Annual Retention Bonus on the anniversary of your employment, every year.
  • £200 bonus if your home gets "Good" with Ofsted, £500 bonus if your home gets "Outstanding" with Ofsted.
  • 33 Days Annual Leave and an extra day off for your birthday (34 in Total.)

  • Enrolment into Level 4 Diploma for Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (If not completed already.)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Residential Childcare Setting
  • To be near or have completed Level 4 Diploma For Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (or equivalent qualification.)
  • Full UK Driving License

You must have a valid driving license, with at least 12 months driving experience and less than six points.
