As a **Middle Officer specializing in Equity and Custody **, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our equity trades and custody operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic financial environment and contribute to the success of our trading and settlement processes.

**Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile equity trades and positions
- Oversee custody functions for equity assets, including safekeeping, settlement, and corporate action processing
- Verify and confirm order details received from clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with the trading desk to ensure all trade information is correctly processed and recorded
- Manage custody operations, ensuring accurate and timely settlement of securities
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to address client inquiries and resolve custody-related issues promptly and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of client holdings and transactions, reconciling internal systems with external custodians' reports
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on equity positions and custody activities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Assist in the implementation of new processes and systems for operational efficiency Execute payment transactions to custodians for settled trades

**Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in equity trade processing, custody operations, or related functions within the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of equity markets, securities regulations, and custody practices
- Knowledge of corporate actions and their impact on financial positions
- Proficiency in trade processing systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Charles River IMS) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues effectively
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in work output
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact with clients professionally Proactive approach to problem-solving and commitment to continuous improvement
