**Equity Financing Middle Office Manager**

As a Barclays Equity Financing Middle Office Manager, your role is based within the London Prime Services, Middle Office team that provides key assistance to the Equity Financing desk. You will be a senior point person for helping the Equity Financing trading desk from an MO and infrastructure perspective, assisting with complex counterparty and internal queries, providing SME inputs for new business projects, completion of regulatory and audit related testing and build outs for the EFG business.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Being the main Point of contact for all business initiatives requiring operations support for Equity Financing
- Capturing teams to resolve issues raised by counterparts and other Infrastructure teams
- Identifying control gaps & process improvement opportunities and work with Product/ Change / IT/ other Ops teams
- Assisting in Managing the daily BAU within the team
- Reviewing the delivery vs, the agreed SLA’s
- Reviewing aged and high risk items across suite of reconciliations
- Working closely with other Prime Services Operations support teams

**What we’re looking for**:

- Broad knowledge of the front to back SBL trading flow including Cash / Non-cash collateral, Billing, Trade Support, Client on-boarding
- Good knowledge of PB activity & how this drives the SBL business
- Excellent Technical knowledge of the EFG infrastructure with an emphasis on how systems connect with each other
- System expertise in industry platforms Global 1, Pirum, Equiilend, Access Edge

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Solid knowledge of operational risks, ability to spot and articulate issues to senior stakeholders
- Diverse investment banking operations experience and demonstrable experience of affecting continuous improvement
- The ability to navigate complex trade flows in order to problem solve, identify inefficiencies & drive change
- Confident speaking with the business & ops management on a range of topics as & when required
