Facilities Coordinator

We are working with a global financial firm looking to appoint a Facilities Coordinator to work at their large office in Coventry. This is a 12 month contract as the client choose to trial roles in this way but will look to offer the role permanently shouldit be working out for both parties.
Facilities Coordinator Core Responsibilities:
- Serves as primary point of contact for all functions and processes within the Facilities team.
- Responsible for the onsite Facilities Management Helpdesk inbox, ensuring all requests are actioned in a timely manner, appropriately and effectively to meet customer satisfaction and expectations
- Responsible for completing monthly site building inspections, documenting and resolve any issues found and engage appropriate vendors promptly
- Input and administrative duties for the site Facilities budgets
- Management of site PPM schedule, ensuring all tasks are undertaken within the agreed timescales. Manage all reactive work requests, ensuring the appropriate, swift and cost effective resolution.
- Supervision of third party contractors and suppliers undertaking FM work on site, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standard operating procedures.
- Manage the Contractor Induction Programme, ensuring all Health & Safety documentation is approved prior to works commencing.
- Responsible for checking and approving Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Manage and develop a professional relationship with all facilities service providers by regular contractor/vendor meetings, ensuring agreed service commitments and KPI's are met and exceeded. Ensure value for money/added value is achieved in terms of quality,service and cost.
- Lead Facilities employee engagement activities; employee forums and working engagement groups
- Provide support and input on H&S, building regulations and environmental & sustainability programs
- Conduct site new starter H&S Induction tours covering physical security and health & safety
The ideal Facilities Coordinator will have previous experience overseeing facilities services in a large busy office environment. Having a facilities qualification such as IOSH, a driving license and access to your own vehicle would also be beneficial (freeparking is available onsite).
For this the client is looking to pay their Facilities Coordinator a salary up to £26,000 per annum.
