**About us**

Rise Reformer Pilates operates two studios and plans to open additional locations over the next two years. We focus on delivering high‑quality reformer Pilates classes with consistent standards across every studio.

We are now looking for a Lead Instructor, to own our class experience and who will become a familiar face in and out of the studio, and employed to work alongside the Member Experience team as an ambassador of our market leading Reformer Pilates programme.

Our Lead Instructor brings their energy, enthusiasm and charisma both to classes and beyond. They throw themselves into everything they do, including wider group projects, recruitment and training, development of brand standards and management of our signature concepts.

The Lead Instructor will work across all studios to help deliver a best in class reformer pilates experience for our members.

Specifically, we are looking for a Lead Instructor that is fully-qualified to teach equipment and mat Pilates.

This role is based on 32 hours per week, with a split of 20 hours of teaching Reformer Pilates classes across Jesmond (NE2 2DJ) and Yarm (TS15 9AH), along with 12 hours of business-related duties, with the opportunity to teach other concepts alongside this.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teaching high‑quality classes each week.
- Designing and maintaining a clear, progressive class program for all studios.
- Helping make Rise the best place to be an instructor in the North East by coaching and developing the instructor team.
- Monitoring key metrics **per instructor**, such as class utilisation and client satisfaction.
- Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with new developments in Pilates and fitness instruction
- Be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the studio, including the reformer equipment
- Promote the studio and its services to clients and potential clients

**Required Experience & Skills**
- Certified reformer Pilates instructor with 2 + years teaching experience.
- Demonstrated ability to fill classes and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Comfortable writing clear programming notes and explaining exercise progressions.
- Confident giving direct, constructive feedback to peers.
- Organised and able to manage schedules across two sites.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
