Purchasing/logistics Administrator

**An exciting opportunity for an innovative and experienced individual to make a significant impact in a European family run company.** **Job Role**: To ensure the company operates effective and efficient purchasing and logistics practices built on sound strategy that results in stock savings whilst supporting business growth. **The responsibilities include**: - Managing levels of stock to prevent "out of stock", and "over stock" - Implement lean processes for procurement, stock movement and delivery - Responsible for logistics/transport of goods in - Supporting Quality Manager in supply quality matters - Managing supplier performance through setting of clear and measurable performance standards and the development of long-term agreements - Sourcing of new products and alternative suppliers - Conduct regular pricing reviews and updates - Supporting sales department with customer pricing, product quotations and tender documentation **Essential Attributes** - 1+ years’ experience in similar type roles - Communicating and presenting data effectively - Experience with product forecasting and trend analysis - Experience with data analysis and root cause identification - Supply chain management experience - Previous experience of managing and controlling inventory **The Person**: A confident and creative personality with an entrepreneurial spirit, you are up for a challenge and possess a solution-based mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Self-learning and personal development are something you practice on a daily basis. You have a data mindset but appreciate the soft skills and emotional requirement to make informative decisions. An ability to create concise yet detailed reports and plans is a fundamental part of the role.
