**Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking HR Manager (Maternity Cover)**

**Your New Salary: up to £75k**

**Location: Central London**

**Report to: Head of Management Support**

**Job status: 7 months maternity cover**

**What You'll be Doing Each Day**:

- Provide generalist HR advice to Heads of Dept. and Senior Management;
- Develop and implement a HR strategy to support the business plan;
- Ensure that HR policies and procedures, including the Staff Handbook, are kept up to date in line with UK best practice and employment legislation;
- Manage HR administration, including payroll and benefits for local employees, and maintenance of employee files;
- Ensure that HR records are accurate and kept up to date;
- Manage recruitment and onboarding;
- Manage all employee relations issues;
- Secretary to the Management Committee;
- Assist Senior Management as needed, for example, drafting communications;
- Responsible for maintaining health and safety policies and procedures;
- Contract management and renewals;
- Responsible for issuing certificate of sponsorships and dealing with visas for colleagues transferring from Head Office;
- Manage payroll and benefits for expatriate employees;
- Any other reasonable management request.

**The Skills You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Fluent English and Mandarin in spoken and written
- Solid HR experience in the UK
- Willing to do a 7-month maternity cover
- Skilled user of MS Office
- Be able to act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence.
- Be able to open and cooperative with the FCA, the PRA and other regulators.
- Be able to pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly.
- Be able to observe proper standards of market conduct.
