We are looking for a **Post-Publication Administrator** to join our publishing team, to assist with post-publication queries and administrative tasks. Cambridge Scholars Publishing was founded in 2002, and publishes academic books serving global markets and authors worldwide. The publishing team is a small, friendly and hard-working group, based at the historic Lady Stephenson Library building on Welbeck Road, Newcastle.
**The role will involve**:
- Day-to-day processing of sales orders from different channels
- Issuing quotes to customers
- Monitoring and rectifying unfulfilled/unsent orders
- Preparing and distributing post-publication guidelines and materials for our authors
- Communicating with authors/editors to handle all post-publication queries
- Providing metadata to various aggregators
- Provide support to other teams
Full training will be given for the role, but we do require applicants to have:
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work to deadlines is essential
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word and Outlook
The offices have car parking, and are well-served by public transport.
