An accountancy practice with a strong family culture, based on the edge of Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint an experienced Administrator to support the Partners with their administrative tasks.
- Taking phone calls from clients, messages and dealing with queries
- Speaking with clients regarding collation of their financial information
- Processing new client records and related documents.
- Diary management and arranging meetings.
- Preparation of files on behalf of the Partners for client meetings.
- Typing amendments of accounts and letters
- Updating various Excel spreadsheets
- Management of the CRM system, ensuring client records are uptodate
- Dealing and distributing incoming post, logging records received from clients.
- Chasing previous accountants for professional clearance
- Meeting and greeting visitors, making drinks.
- Managing administration with the various accounting institutes for employees studying their professional exams.
- Ad-hoc duties

- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have advanced level of skills and experience of all Microsoft Office
- Have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Perform and maintain a high level of accuracy in numeracy, grammar, presentation and attention to detail

The position is office based working 8.45 - 5.15 with an earlier finish on Friday. There can be some flexibility to these times for the right person. Free parking is available.
