**Job Type**:Permanent, Full-time

**Hours**: 40h per week, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30 plus On Call

An opportunity has arisen to join us as an L2 UC Support Specialist.

You will join our Microsoft UC team, part of the wider Technical Operations team, delivering on L2 support for your assigned customers.

You will manage and resolve complex incidents and problems, both in and out of hours.

You will be expected to work on problem management issues, using your own skills as well as collaborating with the team. Working alongside other Support Specialists, this role will fulfil customer delivery to the highest standard.

You will be required to join an on-call rota to support 24/7 escalations from the team.

Please note due to the customer accounts for this role, you will need to be **eligible for SC Clearance** if successful.

**Responsibilities**:

- Resolve incidents and requests within SLA for customers, escalating where appropriate. This ensures customer satisfaction remains high
- Work with other team members with an approachable manner, helping to develop Best Practice and standards that can be shared with the team
- Ensuring that knowledge of the evolving Cloud Technology remains relevant, sharing knowledge with the team to ensure we all evolve
- Methodically work through issues that impact the UC stack and present findings to a wider audience, ensuring buy-in from third parties for issues outside of Nasstar control
- Suggest technical improvements to monitoring to ensure that system availability is increased

**What we are looking for**:

- Strong understanding and background in supporting complex Skype for Business infrastructure or Microsoft Teams in a corporate environment. The role requires a highly technical skillset, specifically in Microsoft Skype for Business and SBC/gateways
- Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and supporting services
- Administration and maintenance of Session Border Controllers such as Acme Packets, Ribbon/Sonus & AudioCodes
- PowerShell administration and scripting
- SQL Server administration and maintenance
- Preference for Certifications such as Ribbon Core Support Class, Core Implementation Class, Verba accreditation, EICC accreditation, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, M365: Teams Voice Engineer Exper
- Experience with Architecture and design experience of Skype for Business hybrid and resource forest deployments, Team Direct Routing, O365, MIM/FIM and 3rd party products such as Verba Call Recording, Anywhere365 & SphereShield - desirable
- Ability to understand the root cause of an issue and communicating this to third party and customers
- Aptitude for quick problem resolution whilst working under pressure
