Access to Health Records and Data Quality Clerical

**The key roles of the team are**:
- processing requests for copies of health records in line with data protection legislation and reproducing them within the legal deadlines set.
- monitoring the completion and accuracy of demographic data on the acute patient administration system and updating missing or inaccurate data as required.
- to process access to health records requests in line with relevant data protection legislation
- reproducing health records by printing from a variety of patient systems and photocopying to meet the required deadlines
- to be able to communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues, members of the public, solicitors and the police
- to update patient demographics on the acute patient administration system accurately and timely
- to provide admin support to the Information Governance Team
This role provides a great insight into the NHS and requires excellent inter-personal skills when communicating with patients and members of staff at all levels within the Trust.
