**The Role**:
Here’s a more detailed overview of the Part-Time People Operations Associate role:
We’re super excited to be hiring a part-time People Operations Associate to help us achieve our mission of supporting people moving around the world. The primary goal of this role is to offer outstanding People support to our fully distributed team of Perchies. You will report directly to the Global People + Culture Lead and work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations partners to implement HR operational processes, and assist with day-to-day operations including contracts, benefit & perks administration, systems management, and supporting the employee lifecycle.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Contract and payroll management
- Coordinate with Finance & Accounting to ensure contracts and payments are handled on time, in full, and in compliance with local and global requirements.
- Manage certain aspects of the employment lifecycle from Onboarding to Off-boarding.
- Other administrative and ad-hoc tasks where needed.
- Benefits and perks administration:
- Support Benefits administration globally and locally where needed.
- Manage the processes and policies around staff perks and benefits offerings, including allowances, expenses, and commissions or bonuses.
- Document and develop user guides and training materials for our internal customers (Perchies).
- Support development and communication of total rewards offerings to new joiners and existing staff.
- Systems, employee data, and documentation administration:
- Prepare documentation such as Employment Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Employment Certificates, Terminations, etc.
- Own HRIS and other People Operations systems to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Be a key player in the evaluation, implementations and support of global HRIS projects.
- Support in the gathering and analysis of HR management information, analytics & data reports.
- General People support:
- Support Perchies on a day-to-day basis and answer questions about HR and People-related topics.
- Support and assist in the development and documentation of Company policies and procedures.
- Supporting other operational activities where needed.
**Requirements**:
In this role, the below experience and qualities are **necessary**:
- Solid understanding of Human Resources practices and legal requirements in EU markets.
- Previous exposure to hands-on payroll processing including funds management and reconciliation.
- Highly skilled with Excel and Google Workspace tools.
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyze multi-layered People problems, providing feedback, guidance, and direction.
- Demonstrated comfortability with high volume, fast and accurate numerical work.
- Strong communication with peers, leaders, and external parties, and the confidence to draft communications independently.
- Can-do attitude and a positive mindset.
- Able to take responsibility in challenging situations.
- Able to keep up with constant change, patient and flexible.
In this role, the below experience and qualities are **highly desirable**:
- Previous experience with a distributed team and asynchronous ways of working.
- Experience with global HRIS providers across multiple countries.
- An eye for detail but able to see the broader picture.
- Confident in challenging ‘how things are done’ and pushing the envelope.
- A genuine love of process, but not wanting to create process for process sake.
- Note: this role is part-time (estimated 20 hours per week). Working days will be determined in partnership with the People + Culture team and management. The annual salary for this position reflects a part-time working schedule._
