The aim of this role is to support the exciting development and implementation of our trailblazing ICS Academy, and its system focused strategic priorities. You will be leading, coordinating and drawing together multiple work streams, multi professional education faculties and functions ensuring that agreed outcomes have been achieved and aligned to the ICS People Plan priorities and the ICS Academy Model & Strategy. The role will be core to the strategic direction of the Academy in setting a clear vision with its existing operational and governance model leading to demonstrable benefits to the H&W health and care workforce system, place and locality.
The role will require managing complex cross organisational and external partnerships through new ways of working and gaining inclusive commitment. The role will build close working relationships with Health Education England, in close partnership with the ICS Academy Director and stakeholders: leading a variety of education, learning & development and workforce transformation work programmes for a new future focused system operating model. To further support Academy mobilisation, the role will lead the Apprenticeship & Widening Participation function, with Project Management support and establish an education innovation evaluation process for the Academy.

- The post holder will support the ICS Academy Director in the development and implementation of the H&W ICS Academy strategy, which will be developed in collaboration with leaders across the Herefordshire & Worcestershire health and care system, Clinical Leaders and Committee Members.
- Responsible for the assurance of programme work streams within the Academy Model and Functionality, alongside leading on several specific projects, which focus on the delivery and mobilisation of H&W ICS Academy for the wider benefit of Herefordshire & Worcestershire health and care system.
- Specific responsibility for leading the education innovation evaluation of the H&W ICS Academy inclusive of establishing an evaluation process for the entire Academy.
- Leading, building and motivating sustainable teams and networks as part of the H&W ICS Academy structure ensuring that adequate structures, resources, and governance are in place.
- With a strong emphasis, and the ability to work autonomously and pro-actively, providing regular updates to the ICS Academy Director as well as the SRO for the H&W ICS People Board, regarding the progress of programmes and projects. This activity will include delegating for the ICS Academy Director as relevant.
