The ICB Communications team is looking forward to welcoming a new digital and design officer into their friendly, highly-motivated and hard-working team. We need an energetic and fresh-thinking colleague who is keen to quickly get hands-on in the team.

You will lead on the ICB/ICS design work and will be part of system-wide campaigns, contributing creative ideas and concepts. You will need a thorough knowledge of digital communications channels and methods as well as excellent knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO. Good writing skills and the ability to convey messages to a variety of audiences are a must.

You will also be lead contact for the commissioning of photography and video projects.
- Leading on all elements of corporate and programme design work, upholding corporate and national brand guidelines.
- Creating content for the ICB/ICS websites, intranet and social media channels; reviewing and updating these platforms on a regular basis.
- Monitoring the ICB/ICS social media accounts and working with the Communications Manager in pre-planning content for these channels.
- Assisting with ICB/ICS events including, promotion on social media, producing programmes and collateral as directed and developing video and written records of key events

- Lead on the design of corporate communications materials, including
- branded templates,
- posters and leaflets,
- corporate templates in line with the corporate style
- digital assets for social media, websites, or intranet
- Actively monitor social media accounts representing the ICB/ICS. Develop a proactive plan of social media posts with the Senior Communications Manager and take responsibility for ensuring delivery of this plan. Respond to social media posts, liaising with appropriate relevant departments I developing responses.
- Support internal and external campaigns with innovative ways of visually communicating with key audiences. Write attention-grabbing calls to action and accompanying text for use on social media, web, and in print.
- Oversee and contribute to design projects requiring advance planning and co-ordination with stakeholder engagement.
- Establish and maintain a rigorous job tracking system, providing reports and information, as required.
- Source and prepare designed assets produced by other organisations to support local and national campaigns.
- Commission external design, video, photography, and production agencies and freelancers as required.
- Establish and maintain an effective image and asset library, with a log of filming and photography consent documentation in line with GDPR requirements.
- Contribute to the training and development of the wider Communications Team e.g. in the use of design and editing software as required.
- Regularly audit digital and design activity, seeking out examples of best practice and identifying opportunities for improvement, including new tools and techniques.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, at all times demonstrating political awareness and sensitivity.
- Maintain and enhance your own personal and professional skills and competences, through performance appraisals and your personal development plan.
