Boeing Defence, Space and Security, Boeing Defence UK Ltd. (BDUK), currently has employees at 18 locations throughout the UK supporting Ministry of Defence Programmes. And now are looking for a Supply Chain Programme Management Specialist to join our team
The role serves as primary supply chain point of contact for Modification Programs. We expect that role to conduct oversight and management of strategies, performance and development of large-scale products and services, represent and provide supply chain input to the program drumbeat meetings and gate reviews.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the internal BDUK Supply Chain Relationship with key collaborators including Program teams, Operations, engineering, procurement, asset managers, and warehouse.
- Understand the programme portfolio and the maturity of the modifications.
- Provide guidance to integrate strategic SC activities and standard methodologies.
- Have full oversight of current and strategic BDUK activity for the modification programs.
- Monitor, and engage with all collaborators on SC RIO Management.
- Being responsible for accurate and consistent measurement and recording of Key Performance Indicators.
- Leads technical, business, product delivery, quality and in-service aspects of supply chain relationships and Performance, reporting out to the Program Managers as required.
- Establishes operating plan to monitor performance to plan.
- Identifies and manages all aspects of the progression of a Bill of Materials from part creation in the supply chain systems to liaising with engineering & procurement teams to assess procurement strategy.
- Leads collaborator relationships and track performance throughout all contract phases, reporting to the supply chain manager and Program Management Meetings.
- Conducts and guides review of Modification Package Bills of Material as and when required to develop a supply chain strategy to support upcoming tasking.
- Develops current and projected work statement.
- Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans. Communicates supply and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to collaborators. Develops and implements work movement plans.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Able to correctly prioritise, plan and project manage utilising computerised Toolsets and automated systems.
- An ability to use information to identify processes vulnerabilities, anticipate problems and suggest creative solutions and be able to present findings to others in a clear and concise manner.
- The ability to work in an integrated and diverse team and accomplish common programme goals
- Demonstrate initiative and decisiveness and the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with working on one or more of the following systems; MJDI, PHL THIS, SAP, SPO, BORIS, IQDS
- Previous experience of working within the MOD Supply Chain or Defense contracts
- Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience
