- The purpose of UK Rotor Craft Support (RCS) Supply Chain Management is to ensure effective delivery of goods and services to support the success of the Chinook Through Life Customer Support Programme and other relevant BDUK programmes as defined through BDUK strategy. The Material Flow team has responsibility for forecasting, proposal management and contract change; component maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO); inventory maintenance; procurement and supplier management; and warehouse storage and parts distribution. Within this successful unit we are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist._

The Role:_**
- The Supply Chain Specialist employed on the TLCS Programme will work within the Material Flow organisation to assist with governance of contractual tasks, performance to KPIs and supervision of a small team. The role is responsible to the Supply Chain Planning and Integration Manager to ensure requirements for the MOD and Key Performance Indicators are met._

Responsibilities:_**
- _
Lead and supervise a small team of Supply Chain personnel to complete their tasks in support of the TLCS and CESA contracts._
- _
Provide governance and oversight of performance against KPIs.
- _Maintain oversight of all aspects of supply chain support for the CESA engine contract._
- _
Oversee governance of the management of Government Furnished Equipment._
- _
Ensure compliance with all accounting functions for the MOD’s Inventory Management System (MJDI)._
- _
Resolution of issues regarding parts and services._
- _
Develop strong relationships with customers; working closely with internal and external customers._
- _
Assist, support and provide back-up coverage for all Supply Chain team members._
- _
Maintain good practices and report on the efficiency of the Supply Chain._
- _
Attend internal and external meetings with customers and suppliers._

Essential requirements:_**
- _
Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar_
- _
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- _Experience working with inventory management systems_
- _
Advanced Data Analytical skills_
