An opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to join Bristol City Council a diverse and ambitious organisation. The role is specifically for the Parking Services PCN Appeals Team.

**What you'll**
**be doing**:
This is a challenging and varied role and you will be working as part of a team providing customer service in Parking Services.

Your primary role will be responding to appeals relating to the forthcoming Clean Air Zone. Additionally, you will log incoming appeals, vehicle keeper details and provide advice to our call centre. On occasion you may also be required to respond to appeals relating to parking and bus lanes.

You will be using various Microsoft programs and bespoke systems, therefore basic computer literacy is essential.

**What we’re looking for**:

- An eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with a good level of English (both written and spoken).
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, to work without direct supervision and be self-reliant

**For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.**
