The Traffic & Highways Maintenance team within the Transport Service is at the very forefront of the efforts being made by the City Council and other stakeholders to improve maintain and develop the transport service in our City, for the benefit of its citizens, businesses and visitors.

An opportunity has arisen for a committed person to join Business and Permits team in Parking Services on a two-year fixed term contract. The purpose of the role is to support the day-to-day financial & technical administration of the Clean Air Zone and the wider Parking Services team. The postholder will develop and operate processes to support the Clean Air Zone and integrate them into the team ensuring consistent quality outputs are delivered; and will also contribute to the ongoing financial, business process and contract management activities that the team undertake.

Reporting to the team manager, you will have the communication skills to deliver front line services to the public in relation to financial transactions, and the attention to detail required to undertake financial reconciliations and provide technical support to the Clean Air Zone.

**For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.**
