**How you'll make a difference**:
As a parking appeals case officer, you will be making a difference by enforcing regulations and providing advice on parking services to develop cohesion in communities making South Gloucestershire a great place to live.

**What you will be doing**

- In this role you will be expected to respond to challenges and appeals against Penalty Charge Notices issued. You will be following statutory procedures and timescales, along with the internal processes.
- You’ll be making decisions on the validity of appeals and accept or reject them in accordance with agreed criteria.
- Daily you will be giving advice to members of the public and businesses on parking controls in South Gloucestershire.
- You will ensure the database for residents parking schemes in South Gloucestershire are kept up to date.

**What we need from you**:

- You will have a relevant professional qualification such as NVQ level 3 in Notice Processing or equivalent relevant experience.
- You should have the ability to manage and prioritise workload and comply with statutory requirements.
- You must be confident with using software packages, such as Chipside.
- You must be able to deal with members of the public who may be frustrated or disappointed, in a calm and controlled manner.
- You will have good verbal and written communication skills.
